About Us
Since 1999, Craig Vandervoort has assisted landowners across the State of Ohio in negotiating with pipeline companies. In that time, Craig has represented over 400 clients in their negotiations on a total of seven major pipeline projects. In 2016, Craig expanded his energy practice to include representing clients in negotiations with solar companies.
In 2018, Joseph Nixon joined the firm as a legal intern and began assisting Craig Vandervoort with landowner issues. In 2019, Joseph Nixon passed the Ohio Bar Exam and, shortly after being sworn in as an attorney, began representing landowners in solar negotiations.
In 2020, Craig Vandervoort and Joseph Nixon decided to launch OhioSolarAttorneys.com as a resource for landowners, businesses, and homeowners who are considering going solar.
